Why I Didn't Vote

I originally wrote about this in the "Opinions" section of my website, but I removed it in favor of the "Articles" section. I'm going to talk about why I decided not to vote in the 2024 election, and why I likely will not vote in any future election.

Privacy Concerns

When you register to vote in America, you give up a ridiculous amount of your privacy. Most zoomers don't care because they're cattle who don't care about their own privacy, but I do. If someone caring about their privacy is such a bizarre concept to you, I can't help you with your mental retardation, sorry. If you simply do a quick Internet search about the privacy implications of registering to vote, it will shock you. Voting records are a great way to dox somebody, by the way. People love to cry and complain about doxing, yet they aren't attacking the core issue here. If you are a registered voter, you doxed yourself! I am not willing to give up my privacy just so I can vote. If it weren't for the privacy implications, I'd actually consider voting. But because of this issue, voting is not something I will partake in.

Voting Doesn't Elect The President

Time to make some people mad. Voting doesn't decide who the president will be. The electoral college does. Al Gore and Hillary Clinton would've won in 2000 and 2016 if the popular vote chose the president, but it doesn't. I'm sure the democrats in 2016 were grateful they went out and voted. They sure stopped Trump.

Politics Are A Psyop

Think about how divided we've become in just the past 10 years due to politics. If somebody aligns themself with a political party, one will assume many things about them that are likely not true. This is why nowadays the whole "republicans are Nazis" and "democrats are groomers" narratives are popular. It's because people are becoming more and more controlled by their emotions. If someone is labelled a Nazi, most people will automatically have a negative view of someone. If I register to vote as republican, certain people in my family will hate me or look down on me. If I register to vote as a democrat, certain people in my family will look down upon me. This is because of preconceived notions that the average cattle has about each political party. This is why political discussion is seldom productive. I avoid engaging in it for that reason. Normies are incapable of having an honest political discussion, especially zoomers.

The Election Is Predetermined

Trump did not have a chance in 2020. Kamala did not have a chance in 2024. This is obvious to most people. We are only given two viable options, both of which are not ideal. You are looked down upon if you vote for someone who isn't the main two candidates. This is because there's no chance of a third party winning. If you are in the "I don't like either candidate" camp, you're screwed. There is no viable realistic alternative for you. It was over before it even began.

Conclusion

And they all lived happily ever after or whatever. I'd honestly probably vote if it weren't for the privacy implications alone, but politics are also incredibly futile due to the emotional nature of it. Don't waste your time arguing about politics and getting angry over them, it doesn't actually matter anyway.
